I am a PhD student at the University of Padua, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Scholarship. Originally from Sicily, I completed both my BA and MA at the University of Italian Switzerland, where I developed a profound interest in metaphysics, philosophy of language, and social ontology.
My research centres on the criteria of identity and individuation for natural objects and artefacts, with a particular focus on questions concerning ground and ontological dependence.
As part of my academic journey, I completed a visiting research period at the University of Neuchâtel and am currently undertaking a visiting fellowship at the University of Oxford.
